My name is Wendy Woodside. I am the energetic and personable makeup artist/esthetician founder of wendycityfaces. My career as a makeup artist has taken me from my fine arts background to the theatres of Chicago and on to television, film, runway, and to the set of the Oprah Winfrey show. My twenty five plus years of experience in the makeup and skincare business has been amazing and I have enjoyed every minute of it--especially the people.
I became a medically trained esthetician because I love to educate! Helping women make their skin not only healthy but stunning has also been one of the great joys of my career.
I take great pride in my work, whether it be a special occasion, corporate event or on location bridal makeup. I provide high grade skin care products, facials and peels as well as masterful body waxing, brow shaping, and personal makeup lessons at my West Suburban studio with education and warm attention. My goal is that every client is 100% satisfied and leaves feeling like a pampered princess. I enjoy and appreciate every single one of my clients and do my best to accommodate their every whim. I am passionate about creating a fresh natural look that’s classic and defined, yet glamorous.
